Tras la muerte de su madre, Anthony, un niño de nueve años, se muestra siempre pragmático, mientras que su hermano pequeño Damian, dos años menor que él, recurre a la imaginación, a la fantasía y a la fe para que su confuso mundo adquiera sentido.
